Supervisory Conservator, US National Archives and Record Administration

Pay scale & grade: GS 14 

Salary: $121,316 to $157,709 per year

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is seeking to appoint a collaborative and experienced conservator to supervise a portion of the Conservation Branch Staff (RXC). 

This Supervisory Conservator will work with an equivalent Supervisory Conservator  and report to the Deputy Director of Preservation Programs. Book Conservation experience is beneficial. The Supervisory Conservators will coordinate, plan, manage and supervise the Branch's conservation laboratory. They ensure that conservation services, conservation and preservation consultation, and preservation policies are carried out in support of the mission and strategic directions of the National Archives and Preservation Programs.  The current Preservation Strategy is available at Archives.gov/Preservation.
