I am looking conservation related job in USA specially NY, NJ, Virginia and DC for me. I am an archaeological conservator who has been worked in the Department of Archaeology in Sri Lanka until last week.

In 2010-11, I was the ‘Second Leon Levy Visiting Fellow in Archaeological Material Conservation’ at the Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. This  fellowship is awarded to individuals interested in pursuing study related to the archaeological materials of the ancient world from western Mediterranean to China. The experience gained from this program greatly expanded my understanding of advanced examination and conservation practices. Subsequently, I undertook as the ‘Annette de la Renta
Conservation Research Fellow’ at the Sherman Fairchild Center for Objects Conservation in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, an in-depth technical examination into the materials and manufacture of twenty-nine Sri Lankan bronzes dating from the Anuradhapura period (2nd century BC) to the nineteenth century in 2012/13. The complete report on this study is published in the Metal 2016 Proceedings of the Interim Meeting of the ICOM-CC Metals Working Group, September 26-30 2016, New Delhi, India under the title: “Radiographic investigation of Sri Lankan historic bronze statues” and under the title: “Preliminary Investigation of Sri Lankan Copper-alloy Statues” in the Journal of Science and
Technology of Archaeological Research (STAR) in 2016 (https://doi.org/10.1080/20548923.2016.1209055). Also I was published paper on ‘Technical study and conservation of the large-scale metal Buddha statue’ in the  Metal 2019 Proceedings of the Interim Meeting of the ICOM-CC Metals Working Group, September 2-6, 2019 in Neuchatel, Switzerland.
