1952. SIC. 1 (1): 1.

With global views now in contraction
"Quelle courage!" for Studies' first action:

     From London the journal unfurled.
Words not of English but French!
Said, "Colleagues of our wide world
look up and out from your bench!"

     One American two Belgians
     our attention they seized
     through depth and consilience
     on Flamands Primitifs.

With Volume 1, Issue and Page 1
and this tour de force analysis
began a new era, new day one
     and changed our publishing calculus.

To SIC editors for generations of readers
thank you for being international leaders.

To me blogs, or weblogs, are periodic postings by a single author or organization. They can contain diary entries, current events or just musings (as I have done here). Except for commenting like this I do not see any way of logging follow-up entries so I don't think these are actually blogs. Unlike the external Wordpress blogs grouped here as "Allied Blogs", the "AIC Blogs" seem to be _one-off_ requests, notices, observations or statements. Since each blog is listed alone as "Blog Viewer" under the News heading (see above) perhaps that is simply what they should be called, just News, and not blogs.
