The Centre for Fine Print Research at the University of the West of England and the Royal Photographic Society are collaborating on a two-day conference Don’t Press Print. De/Re-constructing the collodion process. Over two days some twenty papers will look at historical aspects of the collodion process, contemporary practice and wider aspects, not least conservation and preservation.
The provisional programme can be viewed at the link below and registration is now open for booking. All registrants will receive a copy of the conference proceedings after the event. The publication will be available to the wider public (at a higher price) and registration provides access to the live presentations and the publication. The conference will not be recorded.
