A good way to preserve flat paper objects or photographs on display is appropriate archival mounting, which can protect the object from future damage. This workshop will cover creating mounts using a variety of adhesive and non-adhesive archival methods, including hinging, inlay, edge strips and wraps, corners and more. Class discussions will include the best material choices for presentation and preservation and choosing materials for the best archival qualities. Participants are encouraged to bring their own photos or flat paper objects to mount.
