The ICON Archaeology and Metals Groups would like to invite you to a one-day conference. The day will have presentations by international speakers on the post-excavation conservation, investigation, storage and archiving of archaeological metal objects. There will be a particular focus on recent Cardiff University research into the use of desiccated microclimates to store iron and copper alloys.
The day will end with guided tours of the Museum of London Archaeological Archive, which is the largest archaeological archive in the world.
