Architectural Resources Group (ARG) is a nationally recognized architecture and consulting firm with offices in San Francisco, Los Angles, and Portland. The firm seeks an experienced Architectural Conservator for a full-time position in their San Francisco office.
Job responsibilities may include historic research, field investigations and materials testing, building surveys, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, construction monitoring, and report writing.
Candidates should have a graduate-level degree in architectural conservation or equivalent experience, and three or more years of professional experience. Applicants should have a working knowledge about the conservation and treatment of a wide range of historic building materials and excellent communication skills. Demonstrable skills in AutoCAD and proficiency in graphic programs such as Adobe InDesign are also beneficial.
