Would anyone looking at Erdem's collection know that it was inspired by the work of conservators?

According to Kerry McDermott, writing on the UK Vogue magazine website, the Spring- Summer 2023 collection by the fashion designer Erdem Mordiaglu ( who is known as  Erdem) was inspired by the work of museum conservators. Erdem and his team spent days with conservators at the British Museum, Tate Britain, National Gallery, and Victoria & Albert Museum while working on this collection.  Erdem said that the final gowns that appeared in his fashion show were inspired by the tulle understructures the conservators at the V & A built to support fragile garments. While I'm not sure that without knowing the context of their creation anyone looking at Erdem's garments would say, "Ah, yes. That was inspired by the costume conservators at the V & A", the fact that Erdem has publicly expressed his admiration for the knowledge, skill, and obsession that goes into the conservation of historic objects is positive PR for conservation.
