The Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) is seeking a full-time Conservator and Preventive Conservation Specialist with a specialization in paper, photograph, or book conservation. This position is based out of Miami, FL and will primarily work with our clients in the Southeastern United States. This is a grant-funded position, which CCAHA expects will become a permanent position at the end of the grant period. Working closely with CCAHA's senior management team, the selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating clients in the Southeast by carrying out surveys and assessments, educational programming, business development activities, examinations and estimates, and some conservation treatments. After a training period at CCAHA's main office in Philadelphia, the Conservator and Preventive Conservation Specialist will work remotely from the Miami area but can expect frequent communication, collaboration, and in-person contact with the Philadelphia-based staff.  Frequent travel is a requirement of this position. The complete job listing is available here: http://www.ccaha.org/careers/conservator-and-preventive-conservation-specialist.

Preference will be given to applications received by February 28, 2020. Inquiries for further explanation about the position are welcome. An annual salary in the range of $40,000 to $60,000 is anticipated and will be based on experience level.
