Our Structure

  • AIC and FAIC are each governed by a board of directors, who provide guidance on our direction. The boards have three scheduled meetings each year, with additional supplemental and topic-focused sessions as needed. 
  • A team of professional staff run the programs and organizational tasks, keeping the administrative side running smoothly.
  • An Internal Advisory Group, comprised of chairs of every committee, network, specialty group, and working/discussion groups, provides feedback and member perspectives on a variety of topics. They receive annual reports before their annual fall retreat, engage with one another in a dedicated online community, and help guide the direction of the annual meeting by suggesting locations, themes, and feedback.
