Explore our Principles for Best Practice

The AIC Code of Ethics guides our practice and work. All members pledge to adhere to the code, but we also offer another tier of membership for Professional Members who want to express their dedication to the field, experience, skills, and understanding of the code in practice. We also offer many volunteer opportunities for members to give back to the field, plan programming and events, do outreach, help mentor, and disseminate knowledge.

Code of Ethics

Our Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice inform everything we do. All members pledge to uphold the code and adhere to the Guidelines for Practice. Reach the code or download a copy in English, Spanish, or Chinese.
