Dear C2C Care Community,
As you know, our cultural heritage is finite and easily destroyed. At the Foundation for Advancement in Conservation (FAIC), we are dedicated to ensuring that the art and artifacts of our past are preserved. Providing the Connecting to Collections Care forums, webinars, courses, and web resources is a key part of that effort.
This requires an investment. Caring for collections means dedicating time, skills, and money today in order to protect cultural heritage for tomorrow.
That is why we're asking you to invest in FAIC to help protect the future of our cultural heritage – from the iconic Declaration of Independence to treasured family documents.
FAIC helps save valued collections through our emergency planning, preparation, and response programs. FAIC provides the continuing education courses needed to keep the skills of those who care for collections up to date. C2C Care and CAP programs bring conservation expertise to thousands of collecting institutions and individuals around the world. FAIC-funded research and publications improve knowledge and advance professional practice.
FAIC has been very successful at securing grants to fund its programs, such as IMLS support for C2C Care. But most grants do little to keep the lights on, to pay for accounting services, or to provide the technology that keeps everything running. Without support from individuals such as you, all these grant-funded initiatives would come to a halt.
Please consider a generous gift this year to support all that FAIC does to protect cultural heritage and show your appreciation for this amazing resource. You can make your donation online at our secure portal (https://www.culturalheritage.org/about-us/foundation/donate/donate-online/donate-to-c2c-care), or mail your check to FAIC, 727 15th Street NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20005.
Your gift does make a difference. Thank you in advance for your support!
Sincerely,
Eric Pourchot, Institutional Advancement Director
P.S. Our year-end campaign goal is $65,000. Your support is crucial to meeting that goal and keeping our programs running. Please help protect cultural heritage by making your contribution today!
