Online Resources

Explore our Digital Content

In addition to the many periodicals that we publish, we support a variety of online resources that help inform your work. From calculating the carbon footprint of your materials to doing a deep dive into website archives, we can connect you with what you need.

We host almost all of our publications and resource materials on our website and document libraries, but some resources require a collaborative online space or hands-on tools. Things like our wiki and carbon calculator are hosted in external locations to take advantage of things like Wordpress widgets or dedicated hosting, but they remain part of our suite of supported resources.

Conservation OnLine

One of the field's oldest web-based resources, Conservation OnLine started as a distribution list in 1987, then grew into a hosted web presence in 1993. The current site is more of an archive of websites, distlists, publications, and resource pages. However, its search tool is a global search across all our platforms.

Resource Hub

In order to support additional publication-sharing options, we created the Resource Hub, a Wordpress multisite that collects a variety of publications and resources. You can find article downloads, TechFocus workshop recordings, ANAGPIC papers, Textile Newsletters, and more.

AIC Wiki

The wiki started as a place to host our conservation catalog series in a new collaborative environment, which gave specialty groups the ability to continually update and expand that information. It has grown since then to include Exhibit Conservation Guidelines, sections on imaging, health and safety, work practices, and materials testing.
