We generally plan our schedule 2 to 3 years in advance and will announce the upcoming locations as they are confirmed. Read below to see what you can expect for our future meetings.
Geographic Diversity
We change our location each year to meet in a different region of the country. This way, we decrease travel costs for a portion of our members each year, while also getting to highlight the work of local members!
The United States has five regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and West. You can review our past meetings to check the patterns. Our previous meetings have been in the Midwest (2025), West (2024), Southeast (2023), West (2022), and Northeast (2019). The meeting in Montreal (2026) is considered part of the Northeast.
Member Input
We take suggestions from members about specific cities through our Internal Advisory Group (IAG) and the AIC Board. Reach out to a committee, network, or group chair, staff member, or AIC Board member to share your ideas at the next IAG meeting. We also develop themes during IAG meetings, then offer the top choices to members for a vote.
