CAP Assessors
The CAP Program utilizes collections care and building care professionals to produce general conservation assessments for museums around the United States. The program is structured so that the collections and building assessor will work jointly. The two assessors participate in a pre-visit conference call, joint site visit, and craft a report of prioritized recommendations for the institution.
As an approved assessor for the CAP program, you have the opportunity to help small institutions grow in their professional capacity. Your service to the field through the CAP program helps to improve our nation’s small museums.
