Florida currently has two Alliance For Response Networks: Sarasota Manatee on the Gulf side and South Florida, centered around Miami.

Sarasota Manatee Alliance for Response aims to build an active network between cultural, higher education, and emergency services throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties to elevate disaster resiliency, foster education and support the special considerations of these communities before, during and after emergencies and/or disasters.

South Florida

Alliance for Response South Florida is an alliance of artists, museums, archives, libraries, galleries, cultural institutions, and emergency responders in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties focused on communications, training, and networking. We aim to work across all local art and cultural institutions along with the local emergency services to develop mutual understanding in advance of any emergency and/or disaster. AFR South Florida is also a Weather Ready Nation Ambassador for the National Weather Service. For details on this program please visit here.
